Weight loss Medications

Semaglutide (Ozempic) and Liraglutide (Saxenda) are two diabetic medications that have recently been approved for weight loss. These medications can be fairly expensive, but we are committed to helping our patients find the most affordable options so that they can benefit from these medications. These are not stimulants.  They are medications that work similarly to your own body in response to eating. Only most of our bodies have limited effects without these medications because of our poor diets and lack of exercise. These medications work by slowing down your gastric emptying which helps you feel fuller faster. They also work to increase insulin release which helps to decrease the bodies circulating blood sugar.
